Police Department

The East Brookfield Police Department proudly serves the residents of this rural community located about 14 miles west of the city of Worcester and 7 miles north of Sturbridge. Although the youngest and one of the smallest towns in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts this community is committed to providing service for all our citizens. Our location's easy access to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Routes 9, 20 and 49 make this area a prime target for increased residential as well as industrial commercial expansion.
In these times of unrest and world turmoil we must remain vigilant to threats on our finances as well as our personal safety. This is when a community relies heavily upon its law enforcement and the mission of this Police Department  is to maintain trust and integrity to meet the challenges in todays world, and provide our residents with  services needed to assist them to live safely and securely in this new environment.

Mission Statement: It is the mission of the East Brookfield Police Department to protect life and property, uphold and enforce the law fairly, reduce crime, and foster strong partnerships with the people we serve in this wonderful community.
