Town Treasurer

The Town Treasurer is responsible for receiving all monies belonging to the Town, managing that money to insure maximum cash availability and maximum yield on short-term investments. We pay bills weekly, once approved by the Selectmen. The Treasurer is responsible for payroll and distributing to all town departments. We maintain tax title accounts and we prepare various year end reports including W-2's for employees and 1099's for independent contractors. The Treasurer manages the medical insurance for town employees and retirees.

The Town Treasurer is elected by the voters.
