Town Clerk

The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for maintaining the Town's official records and documents and exercises responsibility for the operation of elections and the maintenance of election records. It issues fishing,hunting, trapping licenses and dog licenses. It also issues Filing Intentions for Marriage as well as certified copies of marriage licenses, birth and death certificates, business certificates and physician's registrations. The Clerk's office provides information to and directs inquiries from government agencies and the general public.

The Town Clerk is elected by the voters and the Assistant Town Clerk is appointed by the Selectmen for a one-year term.
