The Technology Committee has made a reasonable attempt to assure that the information provided is historically accurate. However if errors are discovered please provide the correct information to the webmaster so the Technology Committee can review and make corrections as necessary.

Like most New England towns, East Brookfield has gone through a major transformation throughout this past century. Although much has changed there are places that have stayed somewhat the same.

The following is a series of archive and modern day photographs showing how East Brookfield and the surrounding area has changed or in some cases changed very little.

Approximately once a month we will present an old photograph and ask our visitors to identify the entire photograph, specific components of the photograph or the event that took place at the time of the photograph. Once identified, we will attempt to provide a modern day picture if possible and add these to our expanding collection.

We welcome your comments, historical facts and suggestions and we hope you enjoy viewing our town “Then and Now”.
