Then and Now
The Seminole Boarding House


ca. 1910 The location of this house is at the intersection of East Main and Gleason Avenue. The original portion of the house was built in 1888 which included the two story section to the far left in the photo. A two story section was later added behind that, as well as the three story section. In it's early life, it was a boarding house for the mill workers and later was sectioned off to a three family home.
The house is presently owned by Bob Eddy who bought the house in November of 2009 and is presently restoring it to its historical beauty.
