Then and Now
Pleasant Street Looking East

1910
(Approximate) Another view of the present-day General Store building and Red Man’s Hall, which presently houses the Senior Center. Between these two buildings, in this picture, was a building that used to be a movie theater. The building has been greatly altered, and houses a business today. Note the difference in the foreground, with the view of today’s beautifully landscaped common, the site of a memorial to the fallen soldiers from East Brookfield in various wars and conflicts.

Sept 2005 Today's Common area has been improved with granite post and rails, plantings and war memorials of our soldiers who lost their lives in various wars and conflicts. The building to the left of the General store no longer exist.
