Peasant Street Looking East


1910 (Approximate) View of Mechanic Street looking east, toward Cottage Street. Many of these buildings exist today, and look similar with a few changes. Note the Red Man’s Hall (now the Senior Center building), and the former “General Store”, across from the present-day common.

Sept 2005 Today's Common area has been improved with granite post and rails, plantings and war memorials of our soldiers who lost their lives in various wars and conflicts.
