Then and Now
Oak Grove Luncheonette.

1946: The Oak Grove Lunch was located at 196 West Main Street directly across from the old airport. The property is currently owned by Catherine Messier and family.

The restaurant was started by Frank Wells and for many years the luncheonette was owned and operated by Frank and Anna Wells. Anna (Boucher) Wells was known as "Hot Dog Annie". Some will claim it was the first area establishment to stake claim to the name "Hot Dog Annie's". Sorry Silver Grill in Leicester.

The luncheonette was sold in 1953 and through its final few years it had numerous owners. It was eventually torn down in the early 60's.
