East Brookfield Master Plan

The Master Plan Committee has just completed the East Brookfield’s first ever Master Plan. As the foundation for the Town’s planning and zoning efforts, the Master Plan will be instrumental in setting forth a vision for East Brookfield’s future. The Master Plan consist of the following:

There was an interactive forum on Wednesday, October 3rd at the Senior Center to give East Brookfield residents an opportunity to review the Plan’s major findings and recommendations, ask questions, and share their concerns with the Master Plan Committee before the Plan is brought before the voters at a future Town Meeting. This meeting went very well and suggestions made have been implemented into these documents.

The Master Plan, in its entirety, has been reviewed by a joint effort of the Planning Board, Master Plan Committee, Selectmen, Finance Committee, Conservation Commission and the Zoning board of Appeals. The Planning Board has approved the Master Plan and a vote will take place at the Special Town Meeting on February 11th at 7:30 in the Senior Center.
